About Me

Hello!
I'm Joy Ruth, I'm 18 yrs of age i stay in Mombasa and also i'm a passionate software developer student. I really love exploring new technologiesand improving my skills. I'm currently a first year student at the Technical University of Mombasa, studying Computer Science. I'm dedicated to learning and growing in the field of technology, and i'm always looking for new opportunities to apply my knowledge and expand my capabilities.

My journey in tech started when i got interested in coding at the age of 16. But at that time i couldnt do much of it since i was in highschool so i had to first focus on my highschool studies. Since then, i've been working hard to learn various programming languages and web development frameworks. Apart from my studies i enjoy following tech trends, and participating in thetech talks espesially the Google Developers one.

I am committed to improving my skills and gaining more experience in software development. My goal is to become more confident in coding and working in real-world projects.

Educational Background

I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Computer Science at the Technical University of Mombasa, where i am learning the fundamentals of computing, operating systems, data structures and software engineering principles.

In addition to my academic studies , i am part of the Power Learn Project Scholarship, which allows me to further my studies in Software Engineering. Through this scholarship, i am gaining access to real world learning experiences, including mentorship opportunities that are helping me grow both academically and professionally.

I have a deep passion for technology and software development. My curiosity drives me to explore different aspects of programming and web development. I am particularly interested in:

Web Development: I enjoy creating interactive and visually appealing websites using HTML and CSS.
Programming: I am learning Python and C to strengthen my problem-solving skills and understand core programming concepts.
Software Development: I aspire to build applications that solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences.
Tech Innovations: I love keeping up with new advancements in the tech world, especially in AI and automation.

Although some concepts, like C programming, are challenging, I am determined to improve through practice and hands-on projects. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and I look forward to mastering these skills with time.
